Dog Training, The Single Most Important Command is the Heel Command?
It could be debated, but I believe that the most important command you can teach your dog is the heel command. I would suggest that this is especially true if you live in an urban area and you want to take your pet for regular dog walks in your community.
Therefore in terms of dog training, teaching the heel command should be one of the first things you focus on. What is the heel command you say? I am constantly looking for valuable dog training tips and websites with useful dog training information. I recently stumbled upon the site http://www.barkbytes.com/training/heel.htm which shares that the heel command creates the expectation that your dog will walk consistently next to you on your left side, on command.
You will have to be patient and consistent when teaching this command to your dog but once learned the rewards for you and your dog will be fantastic! For more training tips on this and many other important commands click the following blue link SitStayFetch.

Dog Training to Curb a Negative Behavior
Why do we engage in dog training in the first place? Almost always we engage in dog training to change our dog's negative behaviors or to encourage new positive behaviors.
One of the first steps to take in training to curb negative dog behaviors is to identify which behavior you are going to focus on. In almost every case, you will experience greater success if you choose one negative behavior at a time to focus your training on, examples of negative behaviors are; biting, whining, and aggressive behavior.
Good luck with your dog training and remember to choose one behavior to focus on for greater success. To learn more check out the information offered at the following bold blue link SitStayFetch.
